Binance Uganda Major Platform Update

Fellow Binancians,

We can only become the world’s blockchain infrastructure provider when we empower the world to come on board with us. With that mission, our team wants to make it easier for everyone to join our cause. It doesn’t matter if you have never used a trading platform, or if you have never used crypto.

Binance is excited to announce that the Uganda fiat gateway will be undergoing a transformation at 2019/03/29 1:00 PM (EAT) in 3 major ways:

1. A redesigned, easier-to-use interface that is built on a core wallet experience which allows new users to quickly get familiar with crypto.
2. Simplifying the way people buy and sell crypto with UGX. We are replacing our exchange interface with a quick buy-sell feature that is super fast and removes order and price uncertainty. Users simply enter the amount of UGX they wish to spend or the amount of crypto they wish to sell, check the rate, and in 2 clicks, the order is executed within 6 seconds.
3. Optimizing our infrastructure to ensure users get a more secure, stable and fast experience.

What does this mean for users?

Users can expect improved liquidity, best-in-class spreads and an industry-low 0.1% fee (collected in UGX) on buying and selling crypto. All other UGX and crypto deposit/withdrawal fees will remain the same.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that all open orders will be canceled and that all orders and UGX/Crypto transfer records will be updated at a later date.
